Nikhil Taneja is a Mumbai-based Entrepreneur, Mental Health Advocate and is the co-founder & CEO of Yuvaa, a youth media organization to empower young Indians.
He has previously worked at Viacom18 Digital, MTV India, & Hindustan Times. He has also been teaching at Jai Hind College in Mumbai for 7 years.
Nikhil has been responsible for some of the biggest hits in the digital space at Y-Films, the youth wing of India's biggest movie studio, Yash Raj Films, including ‘Bang Baaja Baaraat’, ‘Pappu & Papa’, ‘Man's World’, ‘Ladies Room’ & more.
With Yuvaa, Nikhil recently travelled across 25+ cities & 70+ colleges in India to talk about mental health & identity issues faced by India's Gen Z through a documentary series.

Most of his work has been in & around urgent issues like Youth Empowerment, Sex Education, & Gender Equality, including the 6 Pack Band, India’s first transgender pop group, which won the Cannes Grand Prix Glass Lion Award.
Nikhil has been responsible for the biggest hits in the digital space at Y-Films, the youth wing of Yash Raj Films: the multi-award-winning ‘Bang Baaja Baaraat’. ‘Man’s World’, India’s first series in association with the United Nations, ‘Ladies Room’, was chosen as one of the 16 Best Web Series in the World by IndieWire, New York.
